After contemplating this program for a while I have finally started my first day of the whole30 today!!! Lately I have had an increase of stress and found myself eating more junk food, ice cream especially, and have put on a few lbs. As someone who has a congenital heart disease and has had 2 aorta replacements (I am 26) my health is very important to me therefore I have pledged to do the Whole30 as a fresh start to good health! I am excited about completing my first whole30!

Oh my gosh krcast88 you couldn't have found a better program than this for your heart issues.  After my W30 my overall cholesterol dropped 50 points and my triglycerides dropped 60 points!   Remember it is so important to stay compliant for the entire 30 days.  I hope you will post your food diary here so that we can help you troubleshoot.  Best of luck on your Whole 30!
