Day 1 and messed up my first meal?

Well i spent yesterday getting prepared for day one and made a batch of ham with eggs in a muffin tin. I realized after enjoyjng my first paleo breakfast that suger is one of the ingredients in the ham along with a bunch of other horrible ingredients. Now I'm frusterated- so do i start day one over tomorrow or continue on as this is day one? And any recommendations for deli ham in Canada that is Paleo? Thanks for the advice!

My personal opinion is that since you are just beginning, maybe make tomorrow your "official" Day One.  Take the rest of today to eat well -- of course -- but also read labels on your products, and get your choices for your Whole 30 nailed down.  It is a very important part of your success on this program.

 

Maltodextrin can be derived from barley or wheat -- which means it could contain gluten, also.
