geonerd
I have spent the last three weeks, reducing the amount of sugar I eat and slowly eating less carbs, and I am ready to take the dive in to the whole30. I don't think it will be easy and I can use all the support I can get. after being diagnosed with low cortisol due to an blocked enzymatic path way and struggling to loose weight to avoid knee surgery .. I am ready to make a change .. and I am hoping this is the right change.. I know I might have moments of panic when I really want that chocolate bar .. or I really feel like having a latte .. but .. I know I am strong and I can do this
stillearning
Good luck, I am on day 4, it's not easy to stay focused but I'm sure we could do it. I THINK we could have bulletproof coffee...pure coffee in blender, add grass fed butter and coconut oil...blend up and you have what I call a latte! NOT possitive about this being allowed but I'm 95% sure.

AmyS
Good luck, I am on day 4, it's not easy to stay focused but I'm sure we could do it. NOT possitive about this being allowed but I'm 95% sure. Bulletproof coffee with ghee and/or coconut oil is fine, but not butter. (Note to geonerd: I haven't tried the stuff for the same reason you mention - haha! But folks around here do swear by it.) Caffeine can suppress appetite, so eat breakfast before consuming. Especially since breakfast can be a new habit, and because you need a really good hearty breakfast to get you through the day (just like mama said). stillearning
Amy, thank you. it has taken me until today to figure out I needed to look at "my content" I will be starting this program over due to the grass fed butter! The good news is I'm alittle more educated now
