KeriW
Just finished up my first whole 40 last Tuesday. I continued past 30 days with my husband who had to start over after some work travel. We went out to dinner with family, and I forgot to alter my salad dressing. So I'm pretty sure I had some sugar on Wednesday. Then on Saturday, I ate an entire pint of chocolate peanut butter coconut milk icecream (I know. I know!) Sunday I had a glass of wine, and today I ate some dairy free chocolate chips with nuts mixed in. So basically I've had a mixture of sugar, alcohol and legumes in the last week. I'm still eating whole 30 otherwise because I like it and I feel good. But have I completely messed up the reintroduction part? Today I feel tired yet jittery, want to snack constantly (I'm not though), and have had tummy issues since adding back PB. Also my meneires disease seems to be worse now too. I plan on going slow from here on out since most of my former foods I don't miss. I know I can't do whole 30 forever, but man do I feel so much better on it! Moderators Tom Denham Posted September 16, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 16, 2014 You probably need to give yourself 7 days of strict Whole30-eating to allow yourself to settle down and find your baseline again. You can't do reintroductions while you are jittery, wanting to snack constantly, and having tummy issues. I don't think you need a full 30 days before you are ready to do formal reintroductions. Hbombdiggity71
How many servings are in a pint of choc pb coconut milk ice cream? I'm guessing it has more to do with your portion size than your choice of food. I'm not expert but to me a pint seems excessive.
