I want...and the aches!

Hi All,

Day 10 for me and all I want is to give into my cravings for sugar and dessert. I am not a daily dessert person but after each meal all I want is something sweet, HELP! I am promising myself I will not go to the dried fruit today, because it seems like, all I want is more when I do. Any great suggestions? Also, at night in bed I am fighting what I call "Jimmy legs" or restless legs. My legs ache and no matter how much I stretch them out it continues and comes in waves. It prevents me from falling asleep but once I am asleep it is gone. Thoughts?

I agree - magnesium helped me a LOT...I think. Somewhere around day 7 or 8 I started waking up a lot at night and feeling super-restless (everywhere, not just legs). After a few days and some advice on the forum, I upped my magnesium from 200 mg to 400 mg about 2 hours before bed and it helped a lot. I didn't change my carb intake or anything else at all. The only thing is...I wonder if it was the magnesium that helped, or if it was just something my body needed to work out. At any rate, I'm sticking with the magnesium!
