babsbob
Hello. So I finished my Whole 30 yesterday and reintroduced dairy today. I had plain yogurt at breakfast and a plain yogurt at lunch. I felt mostly fine but I became irrationally angry this afternoon when picking my kids up at school (at the whole messed up process). I tried to cool off on the way home but then ended up snapping at my daughter about something stupid when we got home and then I felt like crying. And I'm not pms-ing or stressed at the moment or anything. I didn't think dairy affected me that much. Do you think that little amount of dairy could affect someone that quickly? Thanks for your help.
GoJo09
One way to be sure would be to go back to Whole 30 for a few days until you're feeling yourself again, and then test the yoghurt again and see how you go.
Brewer5
I didn't think dairy affected me that much. Do you think that little amount of dairy could affect someone that quickly? Dairy is a weird one. It can affect the neurotransmitters in our brain quite differently than Whole 30 foods. Lots of research out there about this. I read about it in my book The Mood Cure which was written almost 10 years ago. I'm with Jo, definitely try it again in a few days and see what you notice. This is the beauty of Whole 30 -- all sorts of connections start to stand out that otherwise never would have been made.
