When I began hot yoga a few years ago, I asked Melissa Hartwig if I needed the electrolytes the studio said I desperately needed. She said I did not need them. You may be a little on the edge at the beginning of a Whole30, but when you are eating Whole30-style and using salt appropriately in your cooking, Ultima is just one more thing you don't need.
