melodyisis
It's Rosh Hashanah and I will be dining at a family friends' house. I don't know them well and don't feel comfortable imposing my restrictions on their holiday meal nor would i bring my own food to their home. I am on day 59 of my 30 and am torn between staying on or perhaps indulging in wine. The thing is if I do indulge i'd only want to choose 1 food group (wine) in the event of having a potential adverse reaction. or i may decide to fully stick with it. what is a good way to handle this? i can certainly ask what's in every single dish but i don't want to be "high maintenance" when people have so graciously invited me into their home for a holiday celebration. thoughts? Physibeth
At this point in your journey (unless you are going for AIP which generally needs 90 days) I would say do the best you can within your comfort zone and then jump right back on Whole30 afterwards. You won't ruin your future reintroductions doing this as long as you stay compliant for a few days again.

frantastic
Hi Melody - first, L'Shana Tovah and may you be inscribed for a wonderful year! I don't really have any wise words, but if you have the wine, enjoy!
