Starting October 5th

Hello everyone,

I read the book towards the beginning of the year and have gone back and forth with adopting this dietary lifestyle ever since then. Changes like this are not easy for me to stay committed to.  I usually give up after a few days and go back to the way I was eating before.  I know that this attitude keeps me from being successful and I know that support is what I need.  A friend at my church is doing the paleo diet right now and is experiencing some good results even though it has only been a few weeks.  Another friend started a month ago with great results.

My biggest challenge is sugar.  I am a sugar addict.  I love anything with sugar.  Sweet meats, sweet drinks, and sweet desserts.  I'm currently reading a book about how toxic sugar is and it has really gotten me to rethink how I treat my self.  I'm 46 and have high triglycerides and high cholesterol.  I'm overweight by about 40 pounds.  I do not want to have a heart attack.  I want to be around for a long time to come because there is so much to experience in this life.

I decided to start on Oct 5th to give me plenty of time to get ready and prepare a menu plan.  I need to study this plan again to make sure I don't fail.  The more prepared I am the more successful i will be.

And it is only 30 days.  I can do that.

Hey Wes,

I'm starting tomorrow as well!  I'm 44, 45 lbs over weight and addicted to carbs of ALL sorts.  My teenager daughter is starting to mimic my eating habits so it's TIME FOR CHANGE!

We got this and if you need any extra support...reach out anytime!
