RaRaMongolian
I am finishing the third day of my first whole30 and have been huge portions of meat and veggies and I feel so hungry right after eating. Is this normal?
leahcarn
Have you seen the meal planning template, and are you eating at the upper end of it? Are you eating enough fat? RaRaMongolian
I have been using the recipes in the Well Fed books. 6 oz of meat and at least 2 cups of veggies per meal plus a high protein snack at some point during the day. Each meal also includes a tablespoon or more of coconut or olive oil. Sometimes I feel hungrier after the meal than I was before eating. It usually on lasts half an hour but sometimes up tp an hour after eating
Physibeth
Is 6 oz of meat the size of your palm (3 dimensional?)? Is the coconut and olive oil being used for cooking and is a Tbs the size of your thumb? You can always eat more veggies and fat.
Tina R
You might be eating too fast. You might also have to eat longer. I think we are all used to eating our food in 10 min. Maybe take 1/2 an hour to savor you meal. I feel the same way sometimes. Good Luck!
Guest WholeStanley
Are there any distractions when you are eating? If I eat my lunch in front of my laptop/sorting through emails I feel just as hungry afterwards - i read once that the feeling of being full comes from your brain just as much as from your stomach so you need to give your brain a chance to recognise you have eaten as well
