jrustdc
I'm trying to minimize snacking this time, but I am also increasing the amount of exercise I get fairly significantly. I switched from driving to commuting 6 miles each way by bike. I can't yet gauge how much more food I will need. Is it better to snack when I am hungry and make an adjustment the next day, or tough it out?
gatork
What do you mean make an adjustment? Have to looked at (or are you already having) a pre-workout mini meal?
jrustdc
It's commuting, so I have breakfast right before I go. I haven't been eating right before I go home because we have dinner shortly after I get home, but I could do that.
Robin Strathdee
I would say snack if you need it and adjust as necessary. You already know what a snack should look like, so I'm not concerned with you eating a bunch of junk just because. It may take a bit for you and your body to work out amounts, so don't stress it as long as your meals and snacks are appropriate :0)
