Day 7, First Whole30, Feeling Unsure

So I'm on Day 7, and no real changes at all.

 

I wish i had someone to do this with, as it's starting to feel isolating.

 

I didn't have any sort of withdrawl, and in fact the first 4 days were remarkably easy. Then I hit the weekend and struggled a lot. Now back to work, and while not struggling as much, definitely feeling some strong cravings. Also still feeling the constant fatigue. 

 

Breakfast:

 

A few sips of coffee with coconut milk:

2 eggs scrambled in 1 tsp coconut-oil + 1/4 cup ground turkey w/ onions and canned tomatoes

1 red pepper

8 ounces water

 

Lunch

chicken coconut milk curry w/ green beans, carrots, broccoli, squash, cauliflower 1.5 cups

cucumber, red pepper, tomato salad with olive oil/lime dressing-

 

Dinner: TBD

I had a good night last night, hour of yoga, then home for dinner:

 

bowl of bone broth with assorted veggies, zucchini, sweet potato, carrots, celery, dill

+ small bowl of meatballs and roasted spaghetti squash 

(92% lean ground beef + few teaspoons of tapioca powder + eggs, formed into balls, sauteed in EVOO, boiled in sugar free, preservative free tomato sauce and a bag of baby spinach added to sauce.)

 

Day 8:

 

Breakfast:

Just had an apple and felt my blood sugar soar. Can't decide if I'm imagining it, or if the lack of sugar in my diet is really making my body sensitive to sugar in foods. Has anyone else ever experienced it? (I don't have blood sugar issues at all.)

+ 1-2 hardboiled eggs with salt

1/2 red bell pepper

1/2 cup coffee with coconut milk
