Nikol
Hi there, Just wanted to encourage you to stick with it. I have done the Whole 30 many times because of ongoing health issues. It is always hard for me the first 5 days (I find that increasing consumption of sweet potatoes and squash helps with the fog/headache)--then usually about day 5 the fog magically lifts and I feel energetic and amazing. The cravings stop and I really look forward to it. If this is your first time, I would suggest you get some sauces like paleo ranch dressing, sunshine sauce, etc.--they can really add some variety to meals. Hang in there!!! There are plenty of people that will help you through here if you just reach out. BTW, in terms of health: my hubby finally embraced it after seeing the dramatic affect it had on my health and he is no longer a type 2 diabetic! It took him longer than 30 days (about 90 days--he did whole 30 once and then just started eating paleo with me), but it really does work. Best of Luck, Nikol

smashinash3900
Congrats on starting Whole30 today. I know that you'll love it...and also hate it at times. I am on the final week of my first Whole30 and it has been an amazing, eye opening experience. I don't think I will ever view food/eating the same way again. Good luck! Can't wait to hear how it goes. **I haven't heard about a no aspirin rule on Whole 30...but if your doctor has you on an aspirin regimen then you need to check with him/her before you stop taking it.
