Guest
I've been so itchy all over since day 3. I don't have any bumps or rashes (it gets red where I scratch, but, duh) just itch. Sometimes it gets so bad that I just have to take a Benadryl because it gets annoying. I'm thinking it's either an allergy to something I'm eating more of than I used to (coconut, tree nuts, avocado?) or it's just some sort of detox symptom. I just think it's weird that there's no hives, rash, or irritation present, it's just the itching sensation. I did have one day (day 7 maybe?) that my skin wasn't itchy at all and it was magical. Moderators Tom Denham Posted October 1, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 1, 2014 I am skeptical of it being detox symptoms, but sensitivity to something you are eating more of is a good possibility.
GoJo09
That sounds like the reaction I have to pre-workout stimulants back when I used to take them (specifically Jack3d, which is no longer legally sold...tells you something). Are you keeping a food log so you can check back what was different about day 7? Did you not eat something that was there on the other days? Did you go somewhere different with different pollens in the air?
reece1932
I've started to experience the same thing. My face and back are itchy and flaky. I've had issues in this area but it is worse at the moment. Since this is something I do experience, is it likely detoxing? Thanks!
Guest
My itchiness went away after a few days and I haven't changed anything I've been eating. So it was maybe my body getting used to the new diet or the slight change in weather--it's getting cooler in the morning so I take slightly hotter showers. My face is always flaky though!
