ImanAlAulaqi
My friend recommended this tea to me, the ingredients are really new to me so I cannot tell if they're whole30 compliant or not can anyone help out? These are the ingredients: Chinese Oolong tea, Maté leaves, Ginger root, Fennel seeds, Lemongrass, Dandelion leaf, Ginseng root, Gotu Kola leaves, Nettle leaves, Senna leaves, Peppermint leaves, Fenugreek seeds, Liquorice root, Burdock root, Hawthorn leaves, Valerian root, Psyllium seeds. Moderators Tom Denham Posted October 1, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 1, 2014 All these ingredients are acceptable during a Whole30, but let's talk about some things here. Senna is often used to treat constipation. The problem with using senna is that you can become dependent upon it. Valerian is often used to create drowsiness, to facilitate sleep and is sometimes used to treat anxiety. Maybe you want those effects and maybe you do not. ImanAlAulaqi
Thanks for your reply, but using senna for 4 weeks could make me dependent on it or it's only like that on the long run? The side effects you noted kind of changed my mind already definitely not effects that I'd want.
