beara32
Is there any guidance or previous discussion somebody can link me to regarding the reintroduction of raw dairy versus pasteurized dairy - for example, is it recommended to reintroduce raw dairy one day, wait a few days to see how my body reacts, and then reintroduce pasteurized dairy to see if I have a different reaction? Anybody have experience with raw dairy affecting them differently than pasteurized?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted October 2, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 2, 2014 I've heard reports of raw dairy provoking fewer problems than pasteurized, but don't have any personal experience as an adult. You probably should reintroduce them separately so you can note any differences in how your body responds if it does.
Deb.
I agree with Tom that you should introduce them separately. I do have personal experience of both - I no longer eat dairy but when I did, I had notably less reactions to raw dairy than to pasteurized. My cat also would not eat the pasteurized dairy but loved the raw dairy. I think you will find that you tolerate raw dairy way better than regular and if you have a source for it, it is definitely way better for you.
