walley5
Day 1: Breakfast: Pan fried potatoes/onions/peppers (I know, not enough protein... this was my birthday and my kids chose and made the meals) Lunch: Spaghetti squash with tomato sauce Dinner: Salmon, broccoli, and salad Day 2: Breakfast: Pan fried onions/peppers/eggs (fish for me since I can't have eggs), fruit drink (with powdered greens for me) Lunch: salad Dinner: Pot roast (beef, carrots, potatoes), sauteed green beans with onions and garlic Day 3: Breakfast: pan fried onions/peppers/fish (small glass of OJ with powdered greens for me), apple slices Lunch: Zucchini soup Dinner: Cinnamon Chicken, sauteed green beans with onions and garlic I'm thinking we need to increase the protein/meats....? Everything has been very yummy, it's just a lot of work - I feel like all I do is plan and prepare meals.
Tina R
Happy Birthday! Have you checked out the meal planning template? Lunches don't have any protein and you should have protein at every meal. Also juice and protein shakes are discouraged on your whole30. You might want to check out eh can I have post. Good Luck! http://whole30.com/2013/06/the-official-can-i-have-guide-to-the-whole30/. Moderators Tom Denham Posted October 4, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 4, 2014 Here is a link to the meal planning template: http://whole30.com/downloads/whole30-meal-planning.pdf We ask you to eat your food, not drink it. Your body responds to liquid food differently than solid food, so drinking it causes problems. And we ask you not to drink juice. You might want to review the official rules: http://whole30.com/downloads/official-whole30-program-rules.pdf
