Guest
I've been on a less strict elimination diet for two weeks, but today is the day I officialy started the Whole30! I went out to lunch with my dad and chose Chipotle because it was the most compliant as far as ingredients go. They do use rice bran oil in everything, but I can't just pass up an opportunity to see my dad! I'm wondering of it has anything to do with my raging headache I have now? It's probably more likely the sodium! Anyone have recommendations for chain restaurants (California) that aren't too much of a pain to go to on the Whole30? Deb.
Where are you in California? IN LA: Tender Greens is great, I get the steak salad with beets and there is one dressing thats safe, make sure you ask for the one that is dairy, soy, gluten and sugar free, or BYO mayo OR they will do just oil and vinegar. And they have GT Kombucha on tap! Hugos in LA has a great steak and you can get it with plantains and a side salad with oil and vinegar. Sashimi, anywhere is great, obviously you won't do the soy or wasabi. BYO coconut aminos instead of soy. I get sashimi and a green salad.
Guest
Thanks for the link! The only one of those around here is Chipotle I'm I'm Central Cali/Fresno area so my choices are limited. There are a lot of steak places around, but they marinate and put sauces on everything. I guess I can always ask for a salad with chicken and avocado if all else fails!
