April Greer-Boyd
My co-worker just showed me some tea that she brought in that looks delicious. It's called Numi Organic Chocolate Pu-erh Tea. The ingredients are: ORganic Black Pu-erh Tea, organic Cocoa Powder, organic Vanilla Beans, organic Pooibox, organic Cinnamon, organic Orange Peel, organic Nutmeg. Is this okay on W30? befabdaily
Should be. There are no sugary ingredients or grains in there.
April Greer-Boyd
Awesome. That's what I thought, I just wasn't really sure about the cocoa powder. Thanks!
Robin Strathdee
I looked at this the other day but chickened out. Have you tried it?
April Greer-Boyd
I did have it yesterday. It was okay. I kind of wish the flavor had been more bold. I let it steep a good few minutes longer than called for, too.
Susan W
I agree with above. I was SO exited about this tea..I have to close my eyes and concentrate to taste the cocoa. I tried their coconut tea and it was the same experience.
Michelle010
I am on day 6 of doing an AIP Whole 30 and have this tea in my cupboard. I just came down with a cold (after 2 of my kids got it first ugh!) and hot tea sounds so good right now. But is Cocoa Powder ok for AIP?
