etstreiff
I run daycare and I absent mindedly ate a bite of banana bread that had a chocolate chip in it. Does this mean a restart? Makes me wonder how often I pop a piece of something in without thinking. Bummer!
Tina R
Technically yes because it has wheat (gluten) and dairy (chocolate), I am assuming. Just add the days to the end of your whole30 and do a whole40 or whatever. You can do it!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted October 16, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 16, 2014 Yep. That bite calls for a restart. For more on the topic, see this: http://whole30.com/2014/06/really-start-whole30/
Deb.
Sometimes its easier for your morale to think about it as a "Whole 35" or whatever day you are on plus 30 than Day 1 all over again.
prairieportia
I feel for you. I have young children, and the Whole30 forced me to think about every nibble of leftover food while clearing plates, lick of peanut butter while preparing snacks. My sweet daughter loves to share, so it's been hard for me to say "no, thank you" to every offer of some of her food. But it's been very good to reset my thinking, and eliminate lots of mindless eating.
