CC1
I've been reading about the benefits of drinking brine (sole) and wanted to know if this is Whole30 compliant. Thanks!
missmary
this is salt water? In theory, yes, but be sure to check ingredients if you are purchasing it already made as they may add something non-compliant.
CC1
Awesome, thanks! This is the kind you make yourself with the himalayan sea salt. Starting with a drop and working up to a teaspoon total, daily with a glass of water.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted October 17, 2014 Administrators Share Posted October 17, 2014 With all due respect, can I ask why? As I understand it, sole is water in which the maximum amount of Himalayan salt that the water can hold has been dissolved...which you then dilute into a glass of water and drink. Would it not be just as effective to salt your food with the same Himalayan pink salt? I am completely behind broth and gelatin and organ meats and the oils and homemade toothpaste & deodorant to reduce chemical applications and I love hearing about all the things that people "used to" do before modern pharmaceuticals and the gov'ts got involved. So if you would fill me in?
kirkor
Are the benefits related to a detox?
MeadowLily
I can't drink brine or salty bone broth. My heart starts to race. I bought Himalayan Salt...someone told me to salt my fruit. My heart was pounding within a few minutes. I don't do well with salt or sugar.
periwinkle
I have to drink it. I salt everything and cannot get enough salt for my body by diet alone while doing a w30. I get really sick if I don't do sole water.
