How much fat can I eat?

Hi All, I am new to Whole 30 and am start on Nov 9, 2014. My confusion is around how much fat to eat per meal. In the meal planning template, there are 7 bullet points - I'm assuming I don't eat all 7 at each meal, but can I eat more than one bullet point at each meal? For example, can I cook an egg in cooking fat and also eat an avocado at that meal? Thanks!

To add what to what missmary said - the cooking fat often doesn't "count" that much, because a lot of it stays in the pan. In your example I'd have a half an avocado, or a full if you need it (depends on your context).

 

That said, if the egg is your only source of protein, you need more than one. A serving is as many as you can hold in your hand, which for most people is 3-4.
