debswinney
I finished my first Whole 30 (AIP variant) about 2-3 weeks ago, and lost 8 kg, which I was pretty pleased with. I was also really glad to have got used to cooking meals each day, and eating vegetables with every meal - stuff I'd never managed before. I definitely felt better for doing it. At the same time, I'm going to be honest, I was really glad to get to the end, and have a piece of chocolate, and relax a bit. I'd reached the end of my willpower. And I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get the "tiger blood" feeling. After a couple of weeks off Whole 30, I'm starting another one, and this time I don't feel deprived at all! I was amazed once I started eating off-plan how quickly it all went wrong, and I started feeling rubbish and sleeping badly. I'm now on Day 3 of my second Whole 30, and it's great to be back. I guess Whole 30 really has changed my life :-) I'm SO grateful for "It Starts With Food", and the Whole 30, for giving me back my energy and my feelgood factor!
