kat6722
Today starts "BenchMark Week" at my CrossFit box and I sometimes do both WOD's in one day but at different times. I know already that I have to fuel myself up a good hour prior or I barely make it through the WOD. Already did "Fran" today at 11, had my pre-workout meal and I plan to do "Jeremy" at 4:30. Will eating an "extra" meal be okay/suggested? The 4:30 inculdes burpee's so I NEED the fuel!...ha-ha Suggestions please!
gatork
I don't have too much experience with pre- and post-workout meals but, I vote yes for an extra meal, definitely. (Fran is killer so your body is probably already like...feed me moreeeee!) Maybe another pre-workout meal?
kat6722
Yes, my body was screaming for food almost immediately! I think yes to a second pre-workout meal as well! OHS and burpees.....think sweet potato power is needed for this one!
Robin Strathdee
YES! More food. Even if only for recovery's sake. Your body will thank you.
