Fruit free but not snack free day....

7.15am - egg loaf & black coffee

10am - p.t appt. I had planned to go to the 11am yoga class but he broke me! I did do 24 sets after all, so I'm excusing myself. So what I'll be doing is a 6-12-25 set up combined with drop sets , it's killer. I have an upper body day & a lower body day. Hit the jacuzzi, steamroom & sauna and thought of Mary ;)

I hope to start tomorrow but my biceps are pretty sore already so I'll have to make a judgement call in the morning.

11.30am - cm coffee

12.30pm - same as yesterday - avo chicken mayo salad

4pm - I was flippin ravenous, had a "guggy egg" boiled egg mashed with ghee, salt & pepper.

4.30pm - broccoli stalks dipped in mayo while prepping dinner

5.45pm - Johnnys meatloaf , brocolli, sweet potato fries.

Will have a cm decaff coffee later.

I have a few grapefruit/ grapefruits?? in the fridge , now how can I use that within my guidelines?...a salad I suppsoe - ok to have it after my breakfast - I just peel it and eat it like an orange, no broiling with a sugar crust :)

thanks for all the kind words. I suppose I don't look too bad in my bikini, do I?

Wednesday woundup :)

7.15am - egg loaf & black coffee

8.25am - First time doing my new workout, upper body today - wow, tough workout, esp the drop-sets. My arms are aching....but my biceps are hooge :) - honest I look like a female Fenderbender

11.30am - cm coffee

12.30pm - last nights dinner :) meatloaf, broc, s.p fries, mayo & mustard. A grapefruit.

5.30pm - P.F Changs chicken lettuce wraps Since I have never heard of the place let alone eaten there I have no idea if these were authentic tasting, but they were tasty. I even went all wussy primal & used the honey in the recipe. :o Kids really liked it, as did I, hubby not so keen, oh well more for us!. I probably had the same again as pictured.

Ran to the store and bought all the lettuce wrap fixins. I do not care for PF Changs at all but I do love their lettuce wraps. I am subbing in water chestnuts for the almonds. Serving them with Asian slaw. Hurry up dinner!! :D

Until now, I haven't spent any time in the Post Whole30 world. But I had to stop by and find out why Derval's log is up to 26 pages. Obviously, I need to go back and scavenge for new recipes in here when I have the time. Or, I could just cannibalize her pinterest boards...

Oh my, lil D's hair is so long and pretty (more work for you tho I guess). Alex is looking older with this haircut. Did they enjoy the photoshot? Seems so. My cousins refuse to be photographed.

No fruits, no snacks! Congrats.

Cute cute cute those kids are. I love how Lily scrunches her face when she smiles. My mom calls that "smiling from top to bottom".

The PF Changs dish was a hit. Today for lunch I had the chicken and a huge pile of Asian slaw..skipped the lettuce wrap. I could eat that slaw for days. No honey for me until after day 100 this Saturday (hooray) so I used apple juice concentrate. Bet they are both delish with honey..and Siracha. Making that lamb this weekend. Can't wait.

Thanks! the swap was good - I got a faux leather jacket (that belonged to my fired I went with!), a Joseph top! and a nice striped shirt. and I won a prize in the raffle! - a bottle of Moet champagne!

Am run ragged cooking & cleaning for tonight, I'll fall asleep in my wine at this rate!

No work really, it doesn't get too tangled or anything, she wear it up most days for school. I was surprised he got a good photo of Alex as he was so stiff & forced, thank goodness he did, it gets harder as they get older.

Oops I actually did have fruit yesterday & forgot to enter it, a grapefruit after lunch, forgive me? ;)

why thank you :) Lilys photos were greta, she got a fit of the giggles so they are all very natural & scrunchy happy :)

Glad to help you find a new recipe! I have apple juice syrup, never thought of using it. I was using up a bottle of honey that has crystalised on me. No siracha around these here parts....I just used a splash of Franks. looking online sambal olek is a good sub for siracha.

Hope you enjoy the lamb, don't forget to prep it a day in advance. I just had leftovers for lunch, nyom.

Right, a little sit-down & then back to the big clean-up!

Forgot the lamb had to sit a day. Looks like it will be dinner tomorrow night instead of tonight.

I forget what our cleaning chore is today. One more day of two chores and I will be caught up. I have to say, my little apt has never looked so sparkly. :0)

Sharon, we're doing this 30 day cleaning challenge. It's on www.moneysavingmom.com. You take about 20 minutes and do one cleaning chore a day rather than cleaning your whole house in one day. She has a spreadsheet that you follow but she goes into detail each day on her website. Of course you can customize it to fit your own needs. I really like it. I am doing things I never do. Yesterday I wiped down baseboards and cleaned couch and chair with vacuum tools after dusting and vacuuming the living room. Less than 20 minutes.

Thanks Susan, I will check it out! I scrubbed the baseboards in our bathrooms the other day. Sounds like a great way to get stuff cleaned you never think about cleaning.

That's exactly what I am getting out of it. When the chore was to clean an extra room, I did my front porch and back balcony. I like just spending 20 minutes instead of taking on everything in one day. My apt really is sparkly. :0)

Derval, I love your log! You have inspired me to post my pictures on mine! I have taken a picture of EVERYTHING I have eaten so far...mainly because I love taking pics and posting them on FB to taunt my friends! :D

Hurray for food porn!

I'm too lazy to read back through all those pages but what is this cleaning chore of the day? Do you guys try to use more natural cleaners?

Do love the pics of all the foods, I have read some of your log, it's great and inspiring, wish I could be bothered to log everything. Maybe I will try.. :)

This is like music to my ears :) thanks!

So Friday, 7.20pm & I am pooped - on the go all day!

9.15am - Lower body 6-12-25 workout, omfg the burn!

Then cook, clean, shop, clean till lunch

I missed couple pages and what a great morning read + help with making a shopping list (green beans for sure) + paradise for the lamb obsessed girl. Rubbed mine for tomorrow.

So you are hosting book club meetings? Geeez, do you have 30 hours per day over in Ireland? House elves?

You & Slw will be be having the same dinner :)

Yes, my turn to host last night. There are 9 of us gals and we take turns to host. It's more of an excuse for a get-together, the book discussion is very fleeting! It was a very rowdy night last night - we polished off 6 bottles of wine between 7 of us (incl 1 driver) and went on till 12.30am . Needless to say I am feeling distinctly below par today  and I'm struggling with wanting a bar of chocolate and a cup of proper tea.
