Derval
Ok, I'm going We haven't hung out in weeks & I have been fielding invitations to go out to eat because I know how hard it would be to stay W30 compliant. She has just told me that nearly all the cakes will be dummy cakes and it's more to see the sugarcraft work than to eat, so should be actually fine And hey I get to leave the kids at home with hubby on a weekend afternoon, score! dboothsummers
eat right before you go and eat something like a steak and some veggies dipped liberally in guac. be so not hungry if there are samples you'll be like ugh gross.
LivelyLady
I think it could be really helpful actually! Those crafts do not look like food. (Because really, sugar ISN'T food, now is it. ) So it's a great chance to train your brain NOT to see sugar as food, especially when it takes the shape of a sleeping child under a blanket. Then, the next time you're tempted, you can say to yourself, "Oh, but that candy bar couldn't possibly be food, because it's made from the same stuff as all those adorable crafts at the fair I went to." :-)
