Lainey 85
I noticed that Pure Indian Foods came out with a new ghee that has MCT oil, for blending into coffee. http://www.pureindianfoods.com/paleo-butter-coffee-creamer-p/coffeeplusplus.htm I'm going to guess that it's NOT compliant because of the palm kernel oil? I just wanted to double-check.

aimeejean 10
MCT oil is actually from coconut oil (medium chain triglycerides - fatty acid). What happens is they take coconut oil and fractionate and purify it so that the long chain saturated fats are removed and all that is left is the MCT's. My boyfriend just introduced me to MCT oil, I have been putting on my salads and my cooked veggies (do not cook with it). Pretty amazing stuff!

aimeejean 10
What have you noticed with MCT coconut oil vs. the regular kind? I find it is very flavourless and you cannot cook with it. But it is very pure one of the best oils you can consume apparently.
