Ann
I'm tracking with you, Meagan! I also started on 12/26, and also suffered a headache already (mine was thankfully just a little one, the evening of day 2). Good job making due in some hungry pinches! I'll be following along with you for the next 27 days!! Ann

Administrators ladyshanny Posted December 30, 2014 Administrators Share Posted December 30, 2014 Holy smokes, you've had a few days there that would try the most seasoned Whole30 veteran! Congrats on not eating non compliant food, but my dear...you barely ate any food at all. I would gently suggest that your roaring headache has everything to do with your Whole30 and the basic lack of food you've been consuming. Can you get some eggs hard boiled and some chicken thighs baked up and all refrigerated for emergency or busy days? Even on your first day when it doesn't look like things were as harried, your breakfast was only one egg and an orange. A serving of protein if it's eggs is how many you can hold in your hand without dropping...for most women that's at least 3-4. Day 2 you had two oranges and a handful of macadamia nuts. That is starvation, my friend. Please check out the Meal Template: 1-2 palms of protein 1-3 cups of veggies, more if it's leafy greens 1-2 thumbs fat (a half to whole avocado or handful of olives) Repeat this at least three times a day. I encourage you to get your feet under you and start eating, you're consuming a dangerously low quantity of food.
Ann
I got through Day 4 just fine, too Someone at work brought a big plate of cookies and homemade toffee, which taunted me all day. But I persevered, and will move on to Day 5.

Lynne Pawell Clemens
You definitely need to eat more food. Sit down and plan your meals and activities for the next week so that you know in advance when you are going to have to bring along your own food. I would be absolutely starved if I ate as little as you. You are also eating a lot of natural sugar by eating so many oranges and not much else. At this point you may be eating compliant food but you are NOT following the Whole30 program until you start following the Meal Planning Template for every meal. http://ttp://whole30.com/downloads/whole30-meal-planning.pdf Good luck to you! Administrators ladyshanny Posted December 30, 2014 Administrators Share Posted December 30, 2014 Hi Meagan, I sincerely apologize if you felt unsupported, that was not the intent of my message at all. Unfortunately on the second day, the only food you noted was the oranges and nuts which was concerning. I read your posts quite carefully a couple of times so I apologize if I missed something that was written. Often when we see symptoms such as headaches combined with what appeared to be rather low consumption, we like to pop by and make suggestions to ensure that you get the most out of your Whole30. Of course you are always free to request that your account be deleted however if you reconsider at any time, the community is here and has our member's best interests at heart. Be well! Hutlifr
Moderators please be reminded of Melissa's message dated July 7th... "Just a quick change of protocol related to your Whole30 logs. ..... Two, these logs will no longer be moderated by the Whole9 team. They are your personal "diaries," and as such deserve the respect to remain your own form of expression, within our general guidelines. (Verbal abuse, profanity, or any sort of disrespectful conduct is never tolerated on the boards, regardless of where it is posted.)"
Robin Strathdee
As a general note: We do like to keep out of the logs unless asked, except when there's something significantly unhealthy or dangerous going on. Ladyshanny was right to jump in on such low consumption - that's not healthy no matter what program a person is doing. So just know that these logs are not necessarily unmonitored, and that we will let you know if we think you're going to hurt yourself. We like you all too much not too
