Maud
I'm in love with coconut butter and I know that it's a good source of fat, but what's the limit?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted August 21, 2012 Moderators Share Posted August 21, 2012 How about one tablespoon every other day as your max? You want to be sure to have other good fats in your diet and not just coconut butter.
Ann
I just bought my first jar of coconut butter, and OMG, this stuff could be dangerous. I could sit and eat it like a bowl of ice cream. Hahah!
daisydaisy
I just bought my first jar of coconut butter, and OMG, this stuff could be dangerous. I could sit and eat it like a bowl of ice cream. Hahah! Yup, same here. Uh-oh. Was just a bit curious when I saw it in the shop (the nutiva stuff called 'manna') and have just tried a spoonful. Will have to try very hard to keep that one under control!! It is good for you though, right...?! Just some 'moderation' required, which I tend to struggle with! Fortunately it's so dense that it'll probably be hard to eat too much (here's hoping)...
