First whole30 on 1-1-15

I am starting January 1st and need to hold myself accountable. I think posting here will help me to stay focused on following the program.  I have just started reading around the forum and looking forward to learning more.  I have tried eating cleaner and dabbing in Paleo but have not been following anything in particular.  Consequently, I have been slowly gaining weight for 4 months. I NEED a new start and Jan 1st will make a perfect start. I am making the commitment for 30 days.

Day 1

 

B:  3 eggs, 1/2 sweet potato, ghee

L:  2 eggs, 3 jalapeno chicken meatballs, 1/2 sweet potato

D:  roasted chicken,  green beans, broccoli, carrots, ghee

Snacks: sliced summer sausage, sweet potato chunks

Day 2

B: 3 eggs, broccoli, green beans, ghee

L: Pork, mixed vegetables sautéed in olive oil

D: Grilled salmon, broccoli, ghee

Snacks: boiled egg, slices of turkey

Drinks: black coffee, green tea, water

Day 3

 

B:  3 eggs, broccoli. ghee, black coffee

L:  Paleo sausage dressing, half avocado, coffee w coconut creamer

D: Ground beef lettuce bowl with mushrooms, peppers, onions, and avocado slices

 

Snacks: fresh green beans, carrots sticks, turkey slices,

Drinks: water, green jasmine tea. coffee

 

Exercise: Yoga class, step class

Day 4

 

B:  Sweet potato hash with 2 fried eggs, ghee, black coffee w coconut oil

 

L:  Red and orange pepper sticks, boiled egg,

 

D:  Rotisserie chicken with pesto sauce, 1/2 avocado, broccoli, mixed berries

 

Exercise: walked 50 minutes

 

Drinks: water, black coffee, green tea, kombucha

Day 5

 

B:  3 eggs, broccoli, bacon

L:  2 boiled eggs, Aidell's chicken apple sausage

D:  Salmon on mixed veggie salad with balsamic vinegar+ olive oil, 1/2 avocado

 

 

Exercise: Fullbody strength class,  yoga class

Steps: 6,743
