Tropicaltrish
Well, I'm at day 3 today. I really thought I had managed to surpass that hangover period. Nope. I woke up this morning with a ridiculous headache that won't go away. As a part of my journey towards become the best self that I can be, I've taken up morning meditation, practicing yoga, and running. All of these I have done before, but not really committed to them. I'm on a mission to practice each of these to get towards maximum health. With that said, the meditation and the yoga did not help my headache. Neither did eating an amazing breakfast. My guess is to keep moving to get through this?? I mean, it's bad!!! It's just too beautiful here in sunny Florida to stay indoors sulking....Thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this??? gigizachry
I had a bad headache on day 1...day 2 ache moved to shoulder...day 3 my knees....nausua. On the plus side, my sense of smell has increases greatly, maybe because my nose isn't as stuffy. I may be crazy, but Ithink my skin looked better on the 2nd day. I think your headache will be gone 2morrow, unless youhave the flu.
eatprayrun
I had a terrible migraine the night of Day 1 and then felt great for Day 2 - so weird. On day 3 now and feel just kind of tired and achy, but we did have a very late night ;( This whole30 thing has been hard to start since we are still technically on holidays until monday and have had so many foodie invites. Haven't caved but it's been brutal!
A_Whole_New_Me
Just take the day to rest, and realize that it will go away. It takes time to achieve good health with your body & this phase is worth it!
praxisproject
Have some sweet potato, pumpkin or other starchy veg. It doesn't last long If you normally exercise daily, take the day off.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted January 4, 2015 Administrators Share Posted January 4, 2015 Drink lots of water. You can also try to release the tension in the top of your head by giving yourself (or getting) a head and neck rub. It's worth it to power through....and if that means you have to stay in on a nice sunny day, then that's what you need to do. You're in Florida, the sun will be back!
