Administrators ladyshanny Posted January 6, 2015 Administrators Share Posted January 6, 2015 Have a hideous hormonal migraine that will last another 2 days and of course the cramps that come with it, went back to work today for the first time since Christmas and am in a foul mood. Husband came home and this was the conversation: Me: We're having lemon ginger roasted chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes and iceberg wedges, cucumber and tomato with balsamic reduction for dinner. Then I'm going to bed. Hubby: Why on earth are you making such a good dinner when you're feeling so crappy? Me: silence......uh......because as crappy as I feel right now, good food can only possibly make me feel better, not worse? And, because I prepped this weekend, it took me about 15 minutes to pull that meal together and get it into the oven and steamers to cook so I could sit here and drink tea in front of the fire until it's ready. Administrators ladyshanny Posted January 6, 2015 Author Administrators Share Posted January 6, 2015 It was so good, the Zenbelly Lemon Ginger Roasted Chicken stole the show! And now, well nourished, I'm going to bed to watch crappy TV until I fall asleep.
