Cavewoman
Hello ladies! I was just wondering... I have had very sore breasts for the last three days. I mean I feel like I'm pregnant and there is no chance of that as I have had a tubal and I'm 50 years old. I do have some fibrocystic breast tissue that used to get sore at certain time of the month but I haven't been having an issue with that since I went mostly paleo a few years ago. But three days ago they started and yesterday was the worst! The shower even hurt. A little better today. So what is going on??? I've been 100% compliant with the Whole 30, feel great and do not drink any caffeine. Any other of you having this issue? Any answers? Link to comment
Megan Claydon
this is interesting...I will have sore breast if it is close to my period and I have had a really high carb day or if I have a little dairy (cheese or cream). Are you still experiencing tenderness? Link to comment
amandavilliers
This may sound silly, but did you do anything to cause sore muscles there like push ups or chest press, ect!! Link to comment
Marcy
my pms symptoms were definitely worse during my whole 30, but much improved in subsequent months. stick it out! Link to comment
Karen
My breasts only became really sore AFTER I started my Whole30 - I never had a problem with them before. I finished my first Whole30 in July and they still hurt (and leaked) for a while after. When I started my second Whole30 Sept. 2, same thing, and still having a bit of leakage. Not much, but still. They're humongous and really tender and I can't figure out why. (Yes, I got it checked out by an endo, she totally dismissed it but still ran some tests and nothing came up. Story of my life.) It definitely seems to get worse when I'm eating very strict. The thing that really gets me is that I've been eating mostly clean for a while now and was JUST starting to see some signs that my hormones were leveling out (several normal cycles in a row), but the Whole30 completely turned it all upside down again and they're all over the place again... It's incredibly frustrating, particularly with the new symptoms. I can't just accept that it's my hormones resetting because I've seen what that looks like and this doesn't feel like it.
