MeadowLily
I recommend hugs for the challenges you face and then serious sucking it up, buttercup. The world is full of breakrooms populated with people who don't and won't eat like we need to eat. You might as well get used to it if you want your health to be a priority. MeadowLily
Congratulations for pulling yourself from the brink of thrill eating and rejoining the healthy race. Falling back into much bread is not life. Climbing out of that deep hole is transcendent.
MeadowLily
Eat Brain Candy. Fish. Fish. Fish. Eat fish every day for a week - become smarter and more alert. MeadowLily
Brilliant art reduces a subject down to their true essence. So does an optimum setpoint. It's natures way of preserving a body for the long haul and not artificially forcing yourself to become a size 0. The optimum setpoint reveals your true essence. MTNan
Went out with a group of colleagues after a rough day yesterday, which also happened to be my birthday. Skipped the beer, had club soda. Tonight, really wanted a glass of wine. Made tea instead.
Mistyfire
Found a few more foods I don't want to eat in my cabinet - cereal, instant oatmeal, microwave popcorn, sugar free lemonade powder. I gave them away. I have a hard time throwing food away, even when it's junk.

MeadowLily
Carefully tuned snack foods are highly engineered to be craved. Soft, dense foods. Ice Cream and coooool whipp - ahhh, there's your faux foe. A topping to top real ice cream. Highly engineered industrial foods make a mess of everything. They lead to lack of control and the obesity epidemic.

MeadowLily
Being double-minded, undecided in every step you take going forward...always shifting and moving, never reaching a point of certainty, unsettled in intentions...won't get you there. Create a positive food management plan and stay the course. Don't be moved by every wind of dieting doctrine and confusion. Don't look back over your shoulder, eyes forward. MeadowLily
I seldom eat coconut oil anymore but you can do some amazing things with it. Coat your eggs with coconut oil and they'll last two or three times longer. The oil creates an airtight seal that preserves them. Preserve your leather Coat steel knives to prevent rust Fix a squeaky door/hinge Remove gum from hair Clean your shower walls - no bleach needed Many, many other uses. The sky is not the limit. MeadowLily
"Obsession is a cunning, baffling thing. It finds opportunities to exploit and we can't always anticipate when they will pop up." Tom Denham Obsession is the enemy of the soul. It ruins your relationship with food and messes with everything. Obsession demands your attention and that you follow it. Obsession is a driver. It steals your freedom and wants you in lockstep. Any method or procedure that is adhered to, driving you....anything that minimizes your individuality is not food freedom.
