jessica1982
I didn't intentionally step on the scale... I had a doctor appointment. When they told me how much I weighed... I didn't believe them. I went to 2 other scales.... Yep all the same. I seriously lost 13 lbs. I weighed an embarrassing 192 when I started. I am now 179. It still hasn't sunk in yet. My whole30 just turned into my whole60. I'm not stopping at the 30 day mark. Is this for real?? *smh* still waiting for it to sink in.
missmary
I'm glad...but I'm also a little worried...because sometimes people lose a bunch right away but then not much more, or they lose a bunch and gain a little back, so when they might have been really happy with 9 lbs they are really bummed out because they thought it was going to be 13 lbs + lots. That's part of the reason we don't allow weighing during the program. SO, yay! Awesome! but take a deep breath and hide the scale and don't forget all of the other amazing changes and how great you feel, ok?

nicole33
I lost 13 lbs in October, gained 3 back in Nov-Dec (not Whole30) and now I am on day 26 Round 2 and I have only lost a couple lbs.that I know of.(I know, not supposed to weigh-moment of weakness) Good news though, I took photos and my stomach is definitely smaller and my clothes are fitting better. So for SURE throw out that scale. The changes will happen slowly, but they will happen!!
