tplummer
Day 8 Went to mother in laws 70th birthday party. They served Spaghetti and meat balls, Lasagna, bread and wine. I'm glad I ate my Whole30 compliant foods before I left the house. Nothing bothered me except boredom.
tplummer
So one side effect of the Whole30 is my wife says we smell like Indian cuisine. I guess its all the great seasonings we use. I said to her, "Yes, but we have had some really awesome food". Day 10 Feeling really happy this morning, very calm but focused on the day. Energy had been level throughout the last 4 days. I did hit the wall last night because I'm not used to having so much energy and I charged though the day without stopping. Slept like a rock. Hutlifr
Day 8 Nothing bothered me except boredom. Hahaha... Really? No salad, that would have bothered me
tplummer
Well there was salad, but it already had the dressing and parm cheese all over it. So I opted out. I'm being really hardcore about my Whole30.
tplummer
Day 17: Not the greatest day. I have a customer very upset with me and it is really bothering me. Did a new workout this morning and between the 2, I'm zapped for energy physically and mentally. Ate some tumeric shrimp with fried green beans and cauliflower rice. Didn't help. tplummer
Day 19: Odd, yesterday I felt like a million bucks today, tired, headache, allergies, not sure whats going on. Feeling crappy.
tplummer
Day 24: It really does get a lot easier after the 1st 2 1/2 weeks and now that I'm in the home stretch I'm able to cook without the help of a recipe. Also I'm starting to make some decisions. I used to really love drinking with my friends and family and I thought, after the whole3o I would go back but, I'm starting to think maybe I wont. I know drinking really brought me down when it came to work ethic, energy and focus, why would I want to go back to that?
Hutlifr
Cooking without recipee! Way to go... What you are experiencing in terms of "decision making" has a lot to do with the brain reset you are going thru during whole30. It's really incredible what your whole body and brain goes thru without you even trying, I mean good changes My daughter says she still will enjoy some drinks with friends, but only if she feels prepared to feel like crap for several days after the drinking. And I am not talking about her drinking excessively... Her paleo body strongly resents her for drinking any alcohol, and will punish her severely! The longer you eat whole30 compliant food, the more incredible changes you will observe. I have the feeling you will become a lifetimer...
