pnklizzy
I know I am not supposed too but I have been feeling like this for days.. I feel uncomfortable all day with bloat and discomfort. I am still having nightmares. To start, I want to express that I have been a paleo diet person for a long time, I am very active, and do something active everyday. SO I was thinking that whole30 would help with some of the problems I have, sleep, being full, and loosing this last ten pounds.. I am now gaining inches (not on the scale, my measurements) in all areas, arms, legs, and most of all my abdominals.. WHAT IS GOING ON? I thought it was supposed to go the other way.. Please tell me that it is all going to fall off soon because this isn't what I wanted..
Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted February 2, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 2, 2015 I'm sorry you are upset, hang in there! This is why it's the Whole30, not the Whole10 or Whole20. Sometimes the healing process entails things geting "worse" before they get better. Please post a few days of what you have been eating, so we can make suggestions to help you. Administrators ladyshanny Posted February 2, 2015 Administrators Share Posted February 2, 2015 "paleo diet" can mean inclusion of certain sweeteners and dairy as well as maybe less label scrutinizing which could have you eating additives such as sulfites, soy etc. All of that can possibly mean that your body has more healing to do than you necessarily think it does. You could have hormone imbalances, gut bacteria imbalances. You could be chronically low on calories, you could be eating too many nuts/nut butters/dried fruits etc. Basically as Andria said in another thread, "There is nothing detrimental about eating whole, nutritious foods.". Looking forward to seeing a few days of your food, fluids, activity, sleep and stress. Please try to post serving sizes/quantities when you list your eats.
