I'm starting my first Whole 30 on February 9th! I am excited and nervous at the same time. I choose this date because I need to start ASAP but still want this weekend to prepare and shop and make sure I can having a running start on this program. I also have some obstacles that I will need to work through and prepare for like my son's birthday party, Girls' Night Out at my favorite restaurant and a church dinner. I'm starting to plan what my course of action will be at these events so that I can succeed.  :D

Hi jg1117, I will be starting Sunday, Feb. 8th.  So our start dates will be very close and we can keep each other accountable if you like.  Sunday is better for me because I like even numbers and know that I will be too busy Sunday to stare at my pantry longingly.  I post my meals and exercise on the twogrand app so I am easy to follow.  I currently work-out with a trainer and a small group of ladies who swear by this program and after 5 months of hearing about it and seeing their results I am finally ready to commit. Can't wait!

Hi,

I'm starting February, 8th, too! All shops are closed on Sunday in Germany, and we've planned to go snowboarding, so my biggest headache now is how to keep out postWO meals warm in the car for 3 hours (we're below 0 outside).

My hubby is with me on that, and I'll see how he makes it through the following obstacle: friends are joining us for the snowboard ride and they are not on W30 and can eat in an Alpine restaurant anything they want! Poor husband :-).

I will be starting February 8th too!

I am hoping to get my meals planned and my shopping done Saturday.

This is my second time on Whole 30.  The first experience was great, but I was a lot more active at the time.  I played roller derby, but have had to cut back due to injury and school.  The injury kept me from being active for quite a while and so I am trying to get back in the swing of things by learning to enjoy jogging. Hopefully I will get my weight down and get back to feeling great again.  It has been a rough time getting to this point, but I am ready to get back on track!  Yay!

My husband and I are starting February 9th too.  Monday will be easiest because we're away for the weekend for our anniversary and decided we want a nice dinner in a restaurant on Saturday night.  Then Sunday when we get home we'll do the shopping, prepping.  I'm COMPLETELY nervous of this.  I have 3 kids and we are always very busy.  I tend to snack and miss meals.  So I will need to have a lot of "on-the-go" options.  What will also be hard is not finishing off my kids' snacks :)  And at the end of the day when I NEED a glass of wine, that'll be difficult to resist some days too.  I am hoping some online accountability will help.  For hubby, his challenges are more in his office... business lunches, long long hours without grabbing a cheat snack.  I'm going to do my best to send him well armed with approved food.  Wish us luck!!!  And good luck to you!!!

Best of luck tomorrow! Hubs and I are starting our first Whole30 tomorrow as well! Well, we also have a 4yr old, 3 yr old, and 1yr old who will also be making some big changes, too! It's going to be a great 30 days!

**Someone remind me I said that when my kids are refusing to eat, I have sugar detox, and Hubs tries to tell me that the only meat he really 'needs' is fish! HAHAHA!
