Welcome Sandy!

The need to snack can be an indication that your earlier meals aren't big enough. You want your meals to satiate you for 4-5 hours. Designing meals to fit the recommended template is the best way to get there.

It might help to post the past few days of your food log, to confirm that you're on the right track.

Until you get to a place where your meals satiate you, the recommended snack is a mini-meal of protein, veg and fat.  Save your fruit to have with or immediately after your main meals only.

Hey kirbygirl, staying away from all fruit and nuts has so far been the only way I have ever even numbed my sugar dragon...and it's a big, toothy one as well.

Solid choice!  Lots of veggies and you won't even have room for the fruits.  :)

Hey Lady Shanny, still haven't had any fruit.  Had a handful of nuts last week one day when I was feeling dizzy but I don't usually eat nuts so that one's easy to cut out.  I bought myself a beautiful shiny apple at the grocery store because I was craving it and it is still sitting on my desk.  Just haven't wanted it yet.
