kmdchuckles
Well, If you've heard Starbucks will start offering Coconut milk in its store on Monday, Feb 17th don't get too excited. I was in our little town's Starbucks this morning and the manager let me peak at the ingredients. It was a bummer. It has carrageenan in it. I didn't even bother checking the sugar content. Boo to Starbucks.

Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted February 10, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 10, 2015 This is so, so sad. But not unexpected. Starbucks is part of the problem. So many sugary beverages. I'm surprised you can still get straight up coffee there!
Britishgal
All I can think when I look at that label is "why?" Who makes these decisions and think it's a good thing to do? That stuff should not be allowed the name coconut milk...it's deceptive ;( *shudders*

Sleeve
They even use the least bioavailable form of vitamin D. At least they truly put in a well-rounded effort at failure. Good to know that it contains natural flavors, because you know that corn sugar is from GMO corn. Starbucks is a member of an organization that fought GMO labeling in Oregon and wants to repeal Vermont's law. Now to go into my laboratory and see if I can extract the natural flavors from this abomination... Muaaa-haa-haa! Must. Have. FLAVOR.
