Help, Sweetener question Day 32

So, day 32 here and haven't stopped because of bowel issues, and I want them to be solved before moving on, OH and still no TIGER BLOOD!!  Really waiting on that too!  ;-)  But, I really only miss any kind of sweetness in my coffee in the AM.  So, even though I am continuing, would it hurt to put one drop of stevia in my morning coffee or just try once and see if I want something sweet later?  Just not wanting to mess all that work up too soon!!  Thanks!!

I am holding out for the tiger blood!  I am going to figure it out!!  I might not be doing enough carbs.  I do fear that slightly, but I am trying to let myself go and eat more of them.  This is not about weight loss for me (although I can stand to loose 25 lbs)  i really want to feel GREAT!!!!  And I am not quite there yet.  I have had a couple great days throughout the stretch, but just want to feel it even more!  I will get there!  Trial and error!

I know for me personally I have a lot more consistent energy, less brain fog, and better athletic performance than I did before going Paleo/Whole30 almost 2 years ago, but I still don't sleep enough consistently (working on it) so boundless energy is not something I have very often. It's good to look at your food and continue to make adjustments (feel free to post some samples if you want feedback) but look at other components like sleep, stress, activity, and hydration as well as they all have an impact on your overall energy level.

OK, so this morning I thought I would try a bit of Stevia in my coffee.  3 drops to be exact.  I couldn't STAND the taste of it!!  Not sure if I love that or don't love that, but I think I am beginning to like my coffee with just a tablespoon of full fat coconut milk in it!!  BUT, today after lunch I ate 2 tbls of cashew butter and HALF a canteloup!!!!!!!  I have NEVER had ONE craving this WHOLE time.  Could it really be the small amount of stevia this morning, or the fact that I did a sleep study at the hospital with my daughter two nights ago and only slept 3 hours and I am trying to get back on track???  I don't want that to happen again!!!!!  Thoughts?  Thanks!!

Lack of sleep is a big precipitator of cravings for some people.  Plus the hit of supra-normally stimulating sweetener in the stevia, you might be experiencing your sugar dragon rolling over and trying to wake up.

 

Give yourself a few days of strict Whole30 eating to put those cravings back to bed!
