jrsbebco
I need some serious input. Is it possible that as Whole 30 progresses, and my body is detoxing, it could make my inflammation issues worse? I've done a few W30s and there have been a couple of times during the first couple of weeks that my inflammation issues have worsened. After my first W30, my inflammation improved so much that I only had to take my antihistamine pill every couple of weeks, but I'm in the second week of a W30 and have had such bad outbreaks of my pressure urticaria that I have had to take a pill every day. I remember this happening in another W30, as well. Am I imagining things, or is it possible my symptoms would worsen for awhile as my body detoxes? In the long run I'm so much better eating this way, but I'm struggling at the moment with this issue. I'm frustrated!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted February 11, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 11, 2015 Unless you are eating awful between Whole30s, I just can't imagine you having so much trouble as a result of changes in your eating. The stress of diet changes can provoke some problems, but are you making a really big change each time you do a Whole30?
jrsbebco
I eat pretty well, most of the time. Paleo or more strict W30 days, it's been since right before Thanksgiving that I did a Whole 30, and was not strict during the holidays, but I've never gone back to my horrible ways of eating before my first W30, two years ago.
