rhonda d
I felt not too bad at 5:30 am as I got up for work. I got to work chipper and happy. By 11 am I was crashing and hungry. Then I slowly deflated. I thought I'd feel better by now. Maybe acupuncture released more toxins and has set me back. Maybe quitting coffee did more the same.? I'm unwell again..still and so close the the end of my first whole30.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted February 13, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 13, 2015 Assuming you ate breakfast around 6-ish, being hungry around 11 isn't unusual, although "crashing" is probably not normal. I'm not sure about acupuncture, but if you quit coffee in the last few days, that could certainly contribute to being tired, and might explain being hungrier than normal, since caffeine is an appetite suppressant. If you list a couple of days' worth of food, including approximate serving sizes based on your hand size as described in the meal template, water intake, activity level, and how much sleep you get at night, we might be able to suggest some tweaks to improve your experience. Administrators ladyshanny Posted February 13, 2015 Administrators Share Posted February 13, 2015 Chiropractor, acupuncture and massage all have the ability to mess you up a bit by upsetting your status quo. Long term they are extremely beneficial but in the short term, depending on your issues to be treated, they can make you feel crappy. I always, ALWAYS need a long nap after a chiro appt and I tend to leave most massages feeling nauseated.
