Sam Sam Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Yesterday saw the last day of my 1st whole 30. I did it! I am 5kg down, my psoriasis has nearly completely gone, and my sense of smell has returned (i never even noticed that it had gone.) What have I learned? That I don't need sugar, grain or dairy in my diet. I feel great without them. I haven't been hungry at all. In fact I have had to force myself to eat at times. And my sugar cravings, gone. I can walk through the supermarket without needing to slip a chocolate bar or something sweet in my trolley. The dragon has left the building!!! I am a little apprehensive about what the future holds. I don't see this as the end of my whole30. I see this as the beginning of my paleo journey. My new way of life. jencsu Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Yay! My husband and I started just a few days ago and I'm hoping he'll see some relief to his psoriasis, as well. He's really self-conscious about it, and though through exercise and not drinking, it is much better, there are still some trouble spots. Good luck with your paleo journey!
