Can we block other posters?

Is it possible to block another poster?     Instructions please?

Try clicking your user name up toward the top of the page in the menu bar, then choose My Settings. Over on the left there should be one for "Ignore" Preferences.

You add their user name to your ignore list and save.

 

I've never done this, so I'm not sure exactly what you see after you do this -- whether their post is there but hidden, so you have to click to see it, or if you just don't see that they've posted anything.

I just tested this process. It hides the posts of the user for you.  You will see that they posted, but won't see the contents of the post. You have the option to click to view individual hidden posts. 

 

You also have the option to ignore their signature, private messages and chats.
