zekensunshine Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 My husband and I are starting our first whole 30 today as well. I spent several hours shopping and preparing for today. I ran out of the house this morning after one of our cars would not start and needed to hitch a ride with my husband but I did not let that be an excuse; I grabbed my raw breakfast ingredients and learned how to bake eggs in the work toaster oven. They were actually pretty good! I am still a little hungry and am REALLY looking forward to lunch. I hope I learn to be satisfied with just 3 meals a day. Day 1 in the books... feeling good... would love to have support thru this experience as I don't have any friends who are doing this type of program (or willing to)... I'm taking pictures of my meals -- this keeps me accountable to actually sitting down to meals instead of just eating compliant foods here and there. 223Starter Posted March 3, 2015 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Hi there! 223Starter here: I had some major sugar withdrawal during week 1, but I am still staying with the program we started on Monday Feb 23rd, and have not cheated or weighed myself. (....yet ;-p) Also, any recommendations for replacing my chewing gum and breath mints with a Whole30 approved substitute would be appreciated.
