lbyates
I saw where they talk about the exceptions to the "no legumes" rule that sugar snap peas and snow peas are allowed. Why not sweet peas, field peas, and butter peas? Not sure I understand the logic.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted February 24, 2015 Administrators Share Posted February 24, 2015 With sugar and snow peas, you are eating the greenery of the pod and the pea is sort of incidental. With the other peas you are eating just the legume portion and that makes it a no-no.
lbyates
Thanks, that makes sense. What is it about legumes that makes them a no-no?
