asheehy
I am on day 8 and am still feeling hungry. I am a teacher and am sometimes restricted to the times that I can eat. My only break is at 12:00 for lunch, when I am often not fully hungry yet. My eating today looked like this: 7:30 - 2 eggs, 1/2 chicken sausage, sauteed vegetables, 1/2 an avocado 12:00 - spaghetti squash, zucchini, 4 turkey meatballs, spinach salad with 1 tbs olive oil 4:00 - 1 hard boiled egg, handful of cashews 5:00-6:00 - workout 6:00 - turkey burger, half an avocado, small sweet potato, broccoli, extra handful of cashews I was feeling very hungry at 4:00 and regardless of the snack, I was very hungry for dinner. Could this be that, regardless of the increase protein and fat I am eating, my body is used to eating at these times?

Emtucky
I had posted a thread here a week ago when I was on day 3 and had a similar problem. I increased my portion sizes of protein to 6-7 oz (I'm 6 ft and 100+ lbs overweight) and began following the meal template exactly and problem solved...haven't been hungry in between meals as long as I get good protein and fat + veggies at every meal. Haven't snacked since day 3.
asheehy
I am 5'4 about 120lbs. I will definitely look at the meal template more closely, but I know I am having about 6oz of protein at each meal.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted February 25, 2015 Administrators Share Posted February 25, 2015 Instead of weighing the protein, try using your palm as the measuring device? I'm not sure how much 6oz is for you. I do see that you are not eating a whole lot and if you are legitimately hungry then your body is trying to tell you the same thing. Your dinner, to me, looks like a better size. Try adding an egg to breakfast and a couple more meatballs to lunch?
