Socrkiks11
I am breastfeeding my 10-month old and I can't seem to ever get enough nuts. I really try to limit myself because I know there are better ways to fuel my body but it is incredibly challenging. I have been focusing more on trying to "slay the sugar dragon " and not load up on fresh or dried fruits, but it seems I've traded one vice for another. I do try to stick mainly to hazelnuts and macadamia nuts, but I tend to justify my over-nut-consumption due to the breastfeeding caloric demands. Is this a deal-breaker killing my success or is it just something to be cognizant of while working to shift my habits?
AmyS
It's not killing your Whole30, but you're certainly wise to notice this issue. While I can't say for sure, I bet you're not eating enough generally. If you're hungry, we want you to eat a mini meal or a full meal. You might well need four full meals per day, while sipping on a can of coconut milk throughout the day, for instance. However, if you'd like some specific ideas about how to plan your day's eating to keep nuts out of the danger zone, post a couple of days' worth of sample meals here and we'll help you out. In the meantime, eat up! Protein, veggies, fat. The good stuff.
