ladysaintbunny
I've done mostly Paleo for awhile (80/20) but things got off track since moving from Colorado to Turkey in September. I've tried all the yummy Turkish food (baklava is one of my favs) and now I'm ready for a reset. I'm definitely nervous/excited!
runnerchik70
I can't blame you for trying all the delightful Turkish dishes! I love baklava, too. I'm March 2, as well. This is my second attempt at Whole 30. The first time, I made it two weeks. I gave up because I was having horrible insomnia. It was crazy because I thought eating whole foods would help me sleep better. We'll see how it goes this time around.

drtonya145
I've decided to start tomorrow for the first time as well. Have done some other detox diets and have had some success with going sugar and grain free in the past but want to try something a little more sustainable for a while. Groceries bought. Menu for next week planned. Time for brunch then food prep and cabinet clean out.
Megan_cos
I'm starting tomorrow as well! I moved from New York to England last June and it's been a slippery slope towards unhealthy eating since then. I used to eat paleo, I'm hoping this whole30 will hit the reset button for me.
Kayla.824
I am starting today as well! I have been planning on trying this for a few months, however I wanted to wait until I got back from my cruise (I got home yesterday). Needless to say, I overindulged and I am now ready to go! Good luck!
Administrators ladyshanny Posted March 2, 2015 Administrators Share Posted March 2, 2015 I am starting today as well! I have been planning on trying this for a few months, however I wanted to wait until I got back from my cruise (I got home yesterday). Needless to say, I overindulged and I am now ready to go! Good luck! Hey Kayla, hope you enjoyed the cruise!!! If today is your first day and coming directly off of a vacation, I would recommend that you make sure that each meal you eat is large enough to satisfy you and ideally matches our template. We always say that your level of suck is going to be directly related to how far off the reservation you went in the days leading up. If the cruise is anything like the ones I've been on, you could be in for it. Starchy veggies in the order of a fist sized serving per day (at least, more if you need it) will also help as will making sure you have enough fat and are drinking enough water.
